The Kingston Archery Club offers several types of memberships for people of all ages. Membership in the club is valid for one year, and gives you full access to both our archery ranges, an Archery Ontario associate level membership, voting rights at meetings, and access to in-house tournaments or special events as they come along.
As a non-profit, volunteer run club we could not exist without your help. As such, we offer volunteer memberships at a reduced rate, which in return require a few hours of service to the club in the form of help setting up tournaments, general maintenance of the ranges and equipment, providing assistance with various outreach events, or at archery lessons. If you have a special skill set that could be of benefit to the club we would be happy to discuss how these skills could be put to use.
This membership is for people age 18 and up. It includes all the above benefits, but does not require any volunteer hours.
Family Volunteer Membership
Archery is not only an individual sport, but one that can be enjoyed by the whole family. This includes all the above benefits and is intended for families that are comprised of two adults and their children. A family is asked to provided 24 hours of volunteer service to the club and hours can be completed by any or all members in the family.
The junior membership is for people age 17 or younger. Since young people are busy enough, no volunteer hours are required for this membership, however junior members are encouraged to join us and help out.
Guests are welcome at regularly scheduled practise sessions only, and at the discretion of the supervising club member. Valid for people age 8 and up, (minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian). None of the regular benefits apply to this membership. Equipment is NOT supplied. Visitors should have some experience in archery.
