Lessons

The Kingston Archery Club offers lessons for beginners or anyone wishing to brush up on their skills. If you are new to archery this is the best place to start out. Lessons are fun for all and focus on learning proper archery skills and the safe use of equipment.

Coaches are certified through Coach Canada and are dedicated to helping all participants reach their full potential, regardless of their age or experience.

Beginner classes focus on learning how an archery range functions, choosing the correct equipment, and the proper steps to shooting a bow. Classes are 1 hour each and each session is six weeks.

We offer all-ages beginner lessons on Saturdays and adults only beginner lessons on Wednesday evenings.

The cost is $175 for six weeks.

 All equipment provided and no experience necessary.

Participants must be at least 10 years old. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Lessons takes place at the indoor range located at 236 Nelson Street in St. Luke’s Church, Kingston, Ontario.

Intermediate classes prepare the archer to shoot in tournaments, other real-world environments, or just for fun. Advanced shooting techniques are taught with focus on an individual archer’s unique strengths and weaknesses.

Classes are 1 1/2 hours each and each session is six weeks on Saturdays.

The cost is $200 for six weeks.

All basic equipment is provided for the lessons by the club for use during classes.

We also offer summer intermediate lessons at our Outdoor Range.

Coming this fall – Junior Beginners for ages 6-9 years.
